Caglayan Valley

Another one of the most important natural wonder spots in our region that we want you to see is Rize Fındıklı Çağlayan Valley, which carries the traces of a hidden paradise in the Eastern Black Sea with its unique naturalness and history.

The deep valley, whose old and local name is Abu Viçe, was named Çağlayan due to the raging stream flowing from the Kaçkar extension Marsis Mountain. Çağlayan Village hosts examples of mansions and Laz Houses with historical traces.

One of these examples is the Babalık Natural Life Mansion, which has the traces of 250 years of history with the dolmat stone mansion architecture unique to the Black Sea Architecture in our region.

Fındıklı Çağlayan Valley is a natural wonder waiting to be discovered for authentic sightseeing enthusiasts with its historical texture, where endless green meets blue, time freezes, plateaus, streams, waterfalls, vegetation and animal diversity.
